Our Rebrand

ihorizon has come a long way since its formation three years ago and as part of our continuing growth we have undertaken a re-brand with the help of one of our key customers, Neverbland.

We would like to share some of our past milestones with you and let you in on some of the developments we are looking forward to in the near future.

We started with a small group of 4 by London Bridge and our rapid expansion in just three years is testament to the quality of work of these founding members.  Our growth brought a need to be closer to the tech scene and so we moved into our current offices in Old Street, with a team of 13 highly experienced Senior Accountants and interns who have a passion for innovation and technology (and a ping pong table!).

Recent appointments mean we offer unmatched breadth and quality of service, with Mark Hodges joining as Tax Partner in August 2012 and John Leary appointed as US CPA in March 2013.   The experience of Mark and John ensured we cam offer a seamless service to our clients on both sides of the pond.

Our continued focus on supporting a sustainable and strong eco-system to allow UK tech startups to flourish has been widely recognised, most recently with our CEO and founder Pratik Sampat’s appointment to the steering committee of Coadec in June 2013.

We love sharing knowledge through workshops and talks both at ihorizon and General Assembly, where Pratik and Nick have hosted classes on Cashflow, Runway and tax incentives – our one hour classes give start-ups a brief insight to tech specific finance issues.

Of course, we’re involved in the fun stuff too. You can’t be in the heart of Silicon roundabout, close to some of the UK’s finest entrepreneurs and not be involved in what’s happening locally. We’ve closely supported a number of exciting events including ExEE, the 4th of July event in London.

We’ve embraced new friends in the community such as 3 Beards & Level39 and have been proud to witness clients raise substantial funding, such as Conversocial. Seeing so many clients touted as London’s top 20 hotly tipped startups you need to watch is especially rewarding so keep your eye out for the inevitable rise of EDITD, Business of Fashion, Smarkets and Songkick.

This brings us up to the present day, where we’re really excited to continue developing the ihorizon brand within the tech community.

Going forward we are continuing our mission to support the growth in the London tech eco-system, and our vision to be the go to team for accounting and finance solutions.  Therefore we will be building more relationships and learning within our local community through mentoring, more talks/ workshops and an even more hands-on approach to helping tech startups here in the UK.  If you are hosting an event you think we’d like to be a part of, please give us a shout.

We’re also looking forward to some amazing sponsorships and strategic partnerships, which we will be able to announce very soon.
